Dr. Nidhi Malhotra graduated in 2006 with a B.S. in Biology & Psychology from Temple University, where she then stayed to complete her medical degree in 2010. Dr. Malhotra continued on to Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC for her internship and residency in Internal Medicine as well as fellowship training in Gastroenterology & Hepatology, which she completed in 2016. She then went on for advanced training in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases at University of Maryland Medical Center in 2017. She was on the academic staff for Medstar Georgetown University Hospital & Medstar Washington Hospital Center until 2021 after which she relocated to North Carolina and joined Cary Gastro. Dr Malhotra serves on various committees for GI societies and remains very active in the GI Academic world. She is passionate about advocacy for her patients to provide and afford the best care possible for her patients.
